From this moment it is officially available a new surprise update for PS5which you can download immediately to bring next-gen console firmware to the Version 7.01.

The update is coming a few days away from the impressive version 7.00which brought very important changes to Sony’s latest generation of consoles (you can find them bundled with God of War Ragnarok on Amazon).

As reported by Twisted voxelthis time it would be just one hot fixes not particularly bulky and that wouldn’t add no significant news for the platform.

In fact, the official changelog just reports the usual”System performance improvements“: So, in all likelihood, the patch may have just fixed a few unidentified bugs.

Of course, the possibility remains that more hidden innovations have been introduced, as is the case this happened with the previous patch: However, at the time of writing this article, nothing like that has turned up yet.

In order to download the PS5 update 7.01, it must be available at least 1.5 GB of free disk space on your console: So this is a very light patch that you should be able to install without any problems.

If your console has not been updated automatically, we remind you that you can do so search manually the new system patch via the appropriate settings menu, after of course making sure it is connected to the internet.

Should there be further news from version 7.01, we will keep you up to date on our website: In the meantime, our advice – as always – is closed Download the update as soon as possible on your consoles.

One of the most appreciated features of version 7.00 concerns the possibility to use the same installation of a game for both digital and physical copies: It is therefore no longer necessary to install the same title twiceto match competing consoles.

At the same time, however, a criticism that should not be underestimated has also arrived: Some players have complained about the possibility that the new update could take effect at all “spoil” the progress of your current video games.
