Haaland, Messi, Ronaldo are among the stars enjoying their vacation


After a series of international encounters that for some even lengthened the season, the final holiday season is finally in full swing and some of the game’s biggest stars are sharing their sun-kissed snaps.

From tropical beaches to idyllic getaways to Las Vegas parties, players were willing to share with us a glimpse of their lavish off-season stays via social media.

Erling Haaland

With treble victories in the league, cup and European competition, Manchester City’s side rightly spent several days celebrating their triumph before most players scattered in all directions, either on international duty, on holiday or, in some cases, both .

No sooner had the city parade bus returned to the depot than star striker Haaland reported for his international match with Norway, where he was hired Martin Odegaard for consecutive Euro 2024 qualifiers against Scotland and Cyprus. Haaland’s relentless form continued as the City powerhouse scored another three goals over the course of the two games.

pep Guardiola

After finding room in the cabinet to add more cutlery, City manager Pep Guardiola took his mind off the game for at least a day by hosting and participating in his very own golf tournament Spain.

Guardiola was joined by several other football greats including Ruud Gullit and Gianfranco Zola at the annual Pro-Am Legends Trophy, held in Girona to raise funds for the Guardiola Sala Foundation.

As seems to be an annual tradition, Salah returned to Egypt, where he chartered a yacht and spent several days soaking up the sun’s rays on deck and posing for a series of beautiful holiday snaps.

The Liverpool striker also celebrated his 31st birthday in June, which he celebrated with a gorgeous cake that featured a miniature model of himself in his red number 10 shirt.

Bukayo Saka

Saka visited Lagos in Nigeria, the country where both of his parents were born. The Gunners forward received a warm welcome from locals as he walked the streets with his entourage before enjoying a meeting with Lagos State Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

Martin Odegaard

Before fulfilling his international obligations to Norway, arsenal Midfielder Odegaard managed to go on a short summer trip with his partner Helene. The couple enjoyed a bike ride and spent a lot of time lounging in the sun.

Mason Mount

After returning to Austria for international duty, the veteran defender flew to Paris for Fashion Week, even attending a photo shoot and hosting a gala show on behalf of fashion brand Wales Bonner.

Eduardo Camavinga

Camavinga’s summer vacation began with a trip to Morocco, where he also reportedly spent time with compatriots Les Bleus internationals Dayot Upamecano, Ousmane Dembele And Randal Kolo Muanias well as Moroccan internationals Sofyan and Nordin Amrabat.

Seemingly on permanent holiday, Neymar’s big summer tour began with a trip to Monte Carlo to catch the Formula 1 action while mingling with a host of famous faces including Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton at the Monte Carlo Grand Prix.

The PSG striker then joined Brazil Teammate Vinicius Junior was in Miami to watch the Heat host the Nuggets in the NBA Finals and even shook hands with the Heat star courtside Jimmy Butler.

Neymar then threw a lavish gender reveal party where pink pyrotechnics were used to confirm that he and partner Bruna Biancardi are expecting a baby girl.

The 31-year-old also received a number of awards at the Fui Clear Gala in the Hotel Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro. After a disappointing debut season in the Saudi Pro League While Al Nassr finished without a trophy, Ronaldo was relaxing on vacation with his family. The Portuguese veteran smiled as he shared a photo of him in the pool with some of his children.

Having endured one of the longest, toughest and ultimately most successful seasons of his entire career, Messi was finally able to enjoy a little time off before his highly publicized move to Rome MLS.

With a little help from his children, Messi blew out the candles on his 36th birthday cake before heading to the Bahamas with his wife Antonella for a long-overdue holiday and beach before having to report for his first Inter training session Miami players later this month.

After securing a lucrative transfer from Real to Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad, Benzema left the footballing world far behind and sought some rest and relaxation on Reunion Island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Ahead of his new challenge in the Saudi Pro League, the veteran striker recharged his batteries with some family time by the pool at his luxury villa.
